September 4th. Apologies for the brief site downtime. A UK sanctions update caused the outage which we have now rectified.

MARCH 5th Our lo-cost contact number has changed from today to 0330-016-8843

10th February. Jersey Telecom plan further Network Maintenance (out of business hours) commencing on the evening of the 20th. This should not disrupt access to the site the following morning. Should their be any dealys from JT we will update accordingly.

February 1st 2023--Update: The JT Datacentre has planned 'Network Maintenance' commencing out of hours on the evening of 7th February and expect to be completed by 8am the next morning. If you experience any issues don't hesitate to contact us. We will update further if necessary.

For security reasons we install updates from Microsoft as soon as possible after release. On 19th January 2022 one of these updates caused intermittent problems with the site that resulted in some reports missing CAIS data. Once the issue was found various attempts were made to resolve, but by the morning of 21st the decision was taken to roll back the update which required a small amount of site disruption – we apologise for the inconvenience. A further attempt to ensure the issue does not repeat again in the future will be launched on Wednesday 26th January 2022 which will require some interruption to the site. We aim to commence works at 20:00.

8th June 2021-An important security update forced a reboot of the site which resulted in some downtime today. Apologies for any inconvenience.

Friday 21st May: The site will be unavailable for a period of approximately fifteen minutes from 17:30pm this evening to allow for updates.

14th April 2021: The site will be offline for several minutes from 17:15pm to allow for security updates.

12th March 2021: The site will be unavailable for a period of approximately fifteen minutes from 17:30pm this evening to allow for updates.

12/02/2021 The site will be offline this evening from 5:30pm for approximately 15 minutes to install security updates.

13/01/2021 The site will be unavailable this evening between 6pm & 7pm as we are installing some important security updates.

29 Feb 2020 - Site issues started at an unknown point in the morning and was fixed at 11.45am. Sorry for any issues this may have caused.

30 September 2019: A new site has been launched to improve site response times, better recording of user movement around the site, make some fine adjustments to presented data for GDPR purposes, and to slightly alter the search process to determine up front whether the user is searching a business or person. Any issues - please call as soon as possible.

31 July 2019 late afternoon - the site was offline for a few minutes due to a troublesome windows update. These are usually only installed well outside of business hours. Impatience will not get the better of us again. We do not think any users were affected, but we apologise if any inconvenience was caused.

4 June 2019 - site issues forced an unplanned reboot of the server which took the site offline for approximately 5 minutes. We apologise for any inconvenience.

PLEASE NOTE: Our new registered office is "Office 1, Floor 5, 2 Cornet Street, St Peter Port, GY1 1BZ". We are still expecting some interruption to phone lines while we move office contents this week, but we are well prepared to keep disruption to a minimum.

CIDS are beginning an office move this weekend and there may a slight disruption to the phone lines on week commencing 3 June 2019.

20th March 2018 --- Due to an issue with the new search method we have had to revert users back to the traditional search method. This is temporary and will be undone as soon as the issue is resolved, tested and relaunched. The issue has not affected search results in any way but prevented company searches using the new search method. Sorry for any inconvenience. UPDATE--Issue resolved. Fix applied same day

30 Jan 2018 - on 17th of January 2018 we upgraded our site, server and software. There has been only one major issue (with system to system API access) and one minor issue: a lower limit on processing time means that some searches are failing to return results, giving a non descript error regarding "query timeout". This is only likely to occur when there are too many matches using your search term. The temporary solution is to repeat the search using more letters of the surname. Full resolution of this problem requires a relaunch of the site and will therefore be included in our development for GDPR compliance, pushing its estimated delivery date back from 28th Jan to 7th February.

January 2018 - over the festive period we conducted a review of our satisfactions data and cleaned a number of records. Further work will be done after the launch of our GDPR compliant site - target launch date 28th January 2018

December 2017 - we are currently redesigning our website functionality to ensure compliance with the new GDPR law. We are unable to physically meet with all clients but will notify everyone by email in advance of any changes being launched. The new site is very simple to use and we don't envisage any user having problems adapting to the change, but will ensure the current site remains accessible until the transition is complete.

October 2017 --- Stuart has passed his EU General Data Protection Regulation Practitioner course with a pass mark of 90% as certified by IBITGQ (International Board for IT Governance Qualifications). 30 August 2017 PLEASE NOTE!! The website will be relaunched this evening to allow for a new CAIS file layout to enable a new CAIS provider to upload files. If you experience any problems following this launch please contact 01481 713050 immediately. Thank you.

1 August 2017 - site relaunched to solve some problems with the matching algorithms used to determine whether "Authorisation required" should appear on a report. Some issues are now resolved but there is still a small amount of work to do.

JUNE 2017 In the pipeline: The site release due later in June aims to better handle CAIS data and should speed the loading of reports considerably.

MAY 2017 - several small releases of the site have been made to make the dynamic linking to Sanctions information more efficient and less prone to slowing the site down.

11th April 2017 - site is having issues loading reports. Two possible solutions are being implemented, one will take place after work hours today, the other will require a site launch over the weekend. We apologise for any inconvenience but hope to have all issues resolved by Monday 17th April
